Paw Project of Georgia, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to improving the lives of pets and the families who love them. We opened our doors in April 2022 with a mission to provide low-cost, high-quality veterinary care, ensuring that financial hardship is never a barrier to keeping pets healthy and at home.
Since opening, our low-cost wellness center has cared for more than 17,556 animals, providing essential preventive and routine veterinary services. In February 2023, we expanded our mission by adding affordable spay/neuter surgeries, and to date, we have performed over 7,700 surgeries. We're not 'kitten' around—this work saves lives and reduces shelter intakes across Georgia.
One of our core goals is to reduce the number of animals euthanized in Georgia’s animal control facilities. Many families face the heartbreaking possibility of surrendering their pets simply because they cannot afford medical care. By keeping our services affordable, we help pets stay where they belong—safe, healthy, and with their families. To continue offering low-cost care, we rely on the generosity of supporters like you.
In addition to our clinic services, we operate an active rescue and adoption program. Most of the animals we take in arrive unaltered, unvaccinated, and often with treatable medical issues. Thanks to our dedicated team, we provide the care they need to heal, thrive, and find loving homes. So far, we have rescued and adopted out more than 1,542 animals, giving each one a second chance at the life they deserve.
Your support directly impacts animals and families in our community. With your help, we can continue saving lives, preventing unwanted litters, reducing euthanasia rates, and making veterinary care accessible to all.
